Quote of the Weekend and Ordinary Thanksgiving Day 4

This is oddly true of parts of grief, and seemed fitting for this weekend.

I’m am thankful today that grief isn’t wrong, but I think must be God’s kindness to us in this fallen world. Without grief the loss of things would be hollow, empty, and cheap. With grief they gain a cherished respect.
