Regarding the review of “The Alchemist”: thank you for the story of the two brothers. It has been in the back of my mind since I read the book 20 years ago. Faith in the “word”; is that faith in scripture or faith in the Spirit which precedes it? You know the answer. If we look for reasons to disagree over interpretations of theology thee will always be division, but within the field of Truth isn’t The Word unknowable? Faith and theology are two separate things. Ultimately faith is openess to the Spirit of Truth. We cannot find a hiding place behind doctrines. Paulo Coehlo wrote of a search. “The kingdom of God is in your midst”. Find it.
